Stonehenge

Stonehenge was not what I expected it to be.

It is a circle of rocks in the middle of a small field that is right next to the road and it's surrounded by a chain-link fence. There are cows and sheep all around it and a walkway that people who pay money can tour at special times in the morning and evening. Others can not get close to the circle, so consequently cars are pulled over all over the main road and the side road next to the field. We needed to pay money and have a reservation (2 month waiting list).


Oh, well.....

In the photo it looks like the little 18" version that Spinal Tap had on stage!
