Portmeirion, Wales




What a great place! Like Disneyland for grownups! We had a wonderful time in Portmeirion and for those of you who don't know about Portmeirion, it is a small village built by an English Lord who admired Italian architecture. It was made famous by the 1960's television show called "The Prisioner". We stayed in the Chart House Cottage. We had a lovely dinner at the Hotel and walked all around he Village last night. 


One thing that we really enjoyed was watching the tide come in after dinner. It was dramatic and FAST. It was a huge change in tide and happened within minutes. Neither one of us have ever seen anything like it!
